Highlands Mint Plaid Throw

The popularity of Plaid and Tartan fabrics goes back in time. The use of these fabrics has been linked to Scotland, England, and other cultures surrounding that geographical region. It is little known that the origin of these fabrics has been traced to Central Asia.

Alamwar’s HIGHLANDS Collection is an exploration of traditional Plaid weave designs. Handspun wool yarn is handwoven into ultra soft fabrics that are available as throws and decorative pillows. Edges are finished in hand-stitched details.
